The best will be there!

The world?s best players will be back at the Palais des Sports in Marseille! Indeed, four of the eight players who played in the Turin Masters last week have already confirmed their presence at the Open 13 2022. The Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, world number 4, will be looking to win his third title after his victories in 2019 and 2020. Another member of the Top 5 could prevent him from doing so in the person of Andrey Rublev. The 24-year-old Russian has been making rapid progress recently, winning six ATP titles since 2020 (including four ATP 500 titles). He will definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

The revelation of the season, the Polish Hubert Hurkacz, was the surprise guest at the year-end Masters last week. Winner of the Miami Masters 1000 at the beginning of the year, Roger Federer's tormentor at Wimbledon (he reached the semi-finals) has had an exceptional season and is now ranked 9th in the world. He will have to be watched closely?

This high-flying sports line-up is completed by a fourth member of the world's Top 10 with the participation of Jannik Sinner. At only 20 years of age, the Italian nugget has really exploded in the eyes of the general public this season with incredible figures: 46 wins for 22 losses, four ATP titles and a place among the best players in the world!

Finalist in Marseille in 2020, we will also find Felix Auger-Aliassime, now 11th in the world. The young Canadian has never won a title on the ATP circuit (despite eight finals, including two this year), but the 2021 season has allowed him to reach a new level of Grand Slam play with a recent semi-final at the US Open. He will return to the Palais des Sports at the beginning of next year with more experience and maturity to aim for a first title.

On the French side, it is with pleasure that we will see the explosive Ugo Humbert! Despite a mixed season, the young left-hander won the biggest title of his career this year in Halle after a remarkable run (victories over Zverev, Auger-Aliassime and Rublev in particular). He is a formidable indoor player and will be looking to improve on last year's semi-final finish.
